I believe having a sound ethical framework is important so that anyone who comes to see me feels safe, respected and assured of my care, interest and the importance I place on their well-being, without discrimination.
When you see a therapist I believe it is important to know about their professional qualifications, level of training, experience and therapeutic approach. Please see my page on this website for details about me in this respect.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and follow their ethical framework (The Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions). You can read in detail what this means by clicking on this link to their website.
If you need any more information about me, my ethics and the way I work please don’t hesitate to ask – I’m happy to answer any questions you have at any stage of the process.
